What's the difference between the Basic & Standard packages?

The main difference is that the hosting will be cheaper after the first year. A basic site requires less resources from a web server and therefore can be hosted at a better rate.

Is the basic website right for me?

Our basic site is suited for clients who need a web presence but are on a budget. It is ideal for a brochure or informational website that won't require a lot of changes throughout the year. After the initial design all updates will be billed at our standard rates.

What are CMS sites?

CMS stands for Content Management System (CMS). A content management system comes in many forms, but the utimate function is the same--allow a website owner to easily update their pages. Content management systems usually require more development and setup time compared to similar websites without a CMS solution. Popular Content Management Solutions we can provide are:

• Even entire sites can be built on a CMS solution!

Setup pricing varies based on the different types of Content Management System. Our base setup price for $1,250 includes our custom Micro Blog, for all other CMS solutions we will create a custom quote based on client needs.

Why are the eCommerce / CMS sites so expensive?

Ecommerce and Content Management System (CMS) sites require a lot more development than most informational sites. Basically we will create a custom website template that will allow a user to manage their own website without relying on web designers for udpates. Site owners will be able to manage online stores, blogs or the content on any of their pages without knowing HTML or other programming languages.

Do I really get unlimited* pages for eCommerce and CMS sites?

Yes. The whole idea behind our eCommerce or CMS sites is that a site owner will be able to update their website without assistance from us. We offer easy to use tools that allow site owners to add pages their site. This allows site owners to add as many pages as they want to their site.

When do I pay?

We are so confident you will love our work and designs that you don't pay until you are 100% satisifed.

Sites larger than our premium web site package may require a 30% deposit.

What are your standard rates?

We do offer a wide range of custom services so it is impossbile to list everything online. Please contact our offices if you have any questions about pricing. Along with our popular website packages listed above our custom packages are based off our standard fees which include:

• $100 / hr - PHP, Java, web development or database programming
• $100 / hr - Animation design
• $85 / hr - web design
• $65 / hr - graphic design

• $25 / yr - for extra domains pointing to your web site.
  
  
• $275 - license and setup fee for Crosby Interactive Micro Blog.
• $275 - onetime no branding fee to remove byline from website template

• $25 - minimum fee for work

These fees cover additional services not included in the website packages and are optional based on a clients needs. Any additional work that will impact a project is always approved by the client prior to being done--no surprises!

We stand by our work and we put our name on it!
We descretely brand all our sites with a small byline for Crosby Interactive--usually at the very bottom of a web page. This helps keep our marketing expenses to a minimum and allows us to continue to offer very affordable rates and services. This is a general practice by many web design firms. If you would like the byline to be removed from your site there is a onetime no branding fee of $275.

What are included updates?

Most of our hosting packages include updates or maintenance hours. We encourage all of our clients to update their sites often. This helps keep their sites current and relevant.

Included maintenance hours allow each client a way to easily update their site without incurring extra fees. Maintenance hours can only be used for web design as the goal is to keep the site up-to-date. All other services are excluded from the maintenance hour program.

Do I have to host with Crosby Interactive?

No, you can host your website anywhere. However, we recommend you host your site with us to keep development cost down and to ensure quality performance. Best of all the first year is free for new customers with the purchase of a web design! Learn more about our hosting services.

Client Referral Promotion

In an effort to keep our advertising and promotional costs down and pass those savings along to our clients we are offering a “Client Referral Promotion.” If you refer new business to Crosby Interactive your account will be credited 10% of the revenue. This credit will be based on our hourly rates billed to the new business for the initial sale. For example if someone you referred spends $1,000 with Crosby Interactive a $100 credit will be applied toward your account. This credit can be used for website design, graphic design or toward future hosting invoices. Give us a call for complete details!

The client referral promotion even applies to our bylines. If new business is generated from a lead coming directly from a Crosby Interactive byline on a website we designed, the site owner will be eligible for the Client Referral Promotion credit of 10%.
